Who is Dr. Ly, Dermatologist in Alpharetta, GA?

Dr. Long Ly spent his early childhood in Vietnam before moving to Monroe, Louisiana with his family at the age of eleven. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology and minor degrees in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dr. Ly subsequently graduated from Louisiana States University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a transitional year internship at Brookwood Baptist Health in Birmingham, Alabama, followed by Dermatology Residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Ly served as Chief Resident during his final year at Tulane. He received extensive training in complex medical dermatology and surgical dermatology, as well as a robust cosmetic training.

Dr. Ly’s practice is centered on patient education and individualized care. He believes in working closely with each patient to develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs, whether managing chronic skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis, or providing skin cancer screenings. Dr. Ly is committed to making every patient feel comfortable and confident in their skin. He stays current with the latest advancements in dermatology through ongoing education and active participation in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatology Surgery, and the American Medical Association.

When not at the office, Dr. Ly cherishes spending time with his family and friends. He loves to cook, host dinner parties and try new restaurants in the Atlanta metro. Dr. Ly loves to travel internationally and experience new cuisines and cultures.
