He completed his neurology training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital (Weill Cornell Campus) and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he was elected by his peers to be chief resident and won the Neurology Resident Teaching Award. After graduating from Weill Cornell, he completed his Headache Medicine fellowship at New York University, a United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties-accredited fellowship program.Dr. Dominguez has published several articles on medical education and headache-related topics, as well as book chapters in the field of headache disorders and its procedural and neuromodulatory treatment. He previously served as an assistant editor for the journal Headache, a leader in publishing literature in headache and facial pain disorders, and is the official journal of the American Headache Society. Additionally, he is on the editorial board of the American Migraine Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on promoting research, advocacy, and awareness for people with migraine. He has a strong interest in education and innovative methods of treating migraine and other headache disorders, including pharmacological, procedural, and device-based modalities.
