She relocated from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where she served as an Assistant Attending Physician focusing on kidney cancer and other genitourinary malignancies (including bladder, prostate and testicular cancers). After obtaining her MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 2003, Dr. Molina completed her Internal Medicine Residency training at New York University. She then served, successively, as Chief Resident, Hematology/Oncology Fellow, and Assistant Attending Physician at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Molina is a recipient of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Young Investigator Award, and is a regular speaker and presenter at national oncological conferences, including ASCO and ASCO Genitourinary Cancers Symposium. Dr. Molina has significant experience with clinical trials, as well as developing strategies to directly utilize human samples to probe into the molecular basis underlying pathogenesis, cancer metastasis and treatment responses to therapies. Dr. Molina works closely with translational scientists; physicians and investigators in the Department of Urology; and investigators in the Institute of Precision Medicine, to develop and coordinate multidisciplinary clinical, translational, and genomic-based clinical studies in GU cancers.
