Dr. Danielle Emmet, DO is a physiatrist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Emmet earned her medical degree at Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine where she also completed an additional year-long fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. While in medical school, she conducted clinical research on the association between body awareness, osteopathic manipulative treatment and perceptions of pain, which has since been published. Dr. Emmet completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York Presbyterian-Columbia and Cornell.
