I took my Father to several well regarded orthopedic and Neuro Surgeons for pain that was keeping him from walking longer than 10 minutes. When we met Dr Chiles for a second opinion we felt confident, comfortable reassured, and we both knew Dr Chiles was the Surgeon who needed to do the surgery. Dr Chiles spends time, completes a full exam reviews imaging and provides a complete explanation of the surgery. He is realistic and explained fully the recovery process and the outcome expected. The office staff is excellent. They have alot of Patience. The surgery went well without any complications. Recovery was as Dr Chiles had described. I have full confidence in Dr Chiles, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing an opinion regarding surgical options for spinal issues. We got lucky the day we met him. He is a truly special surgeon. His team is fantastic.

Excellent bed side matter Highly trained in his speciality meticulous in his surgical procedure plans for the patient best outcome. Descriptively explains in detail the entire surgical process, and post care. Dr Chiles is down to earth after speaking with him my husband’s decision for surgery was made easy easy.

Four years ago I had a cervical discectomy and fusion with Dr. Chiles and he explained everything and answered all my questions before I even had to ask. His staff is amazing as well, Jessica and Sara are very kind and helpful. The surgery was very successful. So when I started having lower back issues and nothing was helping I was told to see a surgeon. I knew without a doubt Dr. Chiles would be the surgeon to see! Once again he explained the issues and we decided that a lumbar laminectomy and fusion was our next step. I had the surgery about 6 weeks ago and I am amazed at just how well I’m doing. Before the lumbar surgery I was able to meet with the assisting surgeon..and as we spoke he said to me “Don’t worry you are in good hands…I have worked with Dr. Chiles for many years and he is an amazing surgeon. He is at the TIPPY TOP of the TOP NOTCH!” I said “Thank you and I absolutely agree!” So the only thing left to say is “Thank you Dr. Chiles!”

From the moment of my initial visit, the office staff and Dr. Chiles made me feel comfortable and his knowledge of my back issue and needed treatment put me at ease as he explained clearly so that i understood what was needed. Post surgery he took the time to meet with me and go over the surgery and continues to follow up with my healing progress. I was paralyzed from the pain in my lower back and struggled to find a doctor that would honestly share my diagnosis and options and within days Dr. Chiles had a thorough explanation and a plan with option to cater to my need and providing options to allow to pick what I was comfortable with. I had an L5S1 fusion, with no expectation of drop foot recovering, and scared that my sciatica would remain as I had a prior surgery that did not fix the problem. Four weeks after surgery, not only am I out of sciatic pain, but I am able to wiggle my toes on the drop foot, which is the beginning of recovery. I would highly recommend Dr. Bennie Chiles III. I felt safe and cared for pre, during, and post my surgery.

Excellent. Dr.Chiles performed a lumbar fusion surgery on my lower back 7 years ago and did a excellent job so knowing I needed more surgery on my spine I never even questioned going to see a different surgeon. As far as I’m concerned he’s 2 for 2, 100 percent in my book !!

He took care of my pain, provided a correct diagnosis unlike the provider I saw before him. He performed surgery after explaining the procedure He did exactly what he explained to me . He listened to my concerns. I am on the road to total recovery thanks to his skills

To begin with, Dr. Chiles has impeccable manners. I respect the fact that he chose not to automatically elect surgery, but suggested an optional plan consisting of weight loss and physical therapy. The plan worked like a charm. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr Chiles that is need of any neurological assistance. Thanks Doc!

It is always devastating to learn that your health is at risk. It is beyond when you face possible paralysis or worse. We’re it not for the recommendation by a friend to seek out Dr. Chiles to repair my severely damaged cervical spine, spinal cord, vertebrae and discs, my future would not be a happy one. The progress of my recovery was everything Dr. Chiles said it would be-rough going in the beginning-incredible pain-but steady progress. 2 months after 2 surgeries I was back to work, progressing with PT and once again envisioning a summer of swimming and dancing. None of this would be possible were it not for the skilled care of Dr. Chiles and his equally outstanding colleagues. For the record, walking like Fred Sandford was not a good look a good look, especially for a woman. Thankfully, my stride is returning to what it once was.
