I had the misfortune of coming into contact with "Doctor" Ventre while a patient at Fort Lauderdale Hospital. I had self admitted myself for sleep disorder and accompanying dependency on sleep aides. This "gentleman" shows up to the hospital to see you at will. Somedays 9am, somedays they wake you up from your night sleep because Dr. Ventre is "running late". best doctor, best care, really takes the time with his patients and they keep coming back! he is hands down the best psychiatrist I have ever been to.

Very Abusive
This doctor is abusive. I rejected his reckless perscribing of dangerous anounts of nueroleptics and 'mood stabilizers' Due to the negative effects on my cognition and the fact they would destroy my health and also cause dependence. I also did not want or need those drugs. He retaliates with threats of Forced long acting "injectable form" nueroleptics (chemical rape) behind the locked doors of Fort Lauderdale Hospital. Patient visit
I have been with Dr. ventre for a couple years now. I just went to his new office and wow, what an experience!! The new office is so pleasant. Dr. Ventre is the best! He is patient, intelligent, and really cares. I would recommend him to anyone and already have.
