    Don't believe the negative feedback

    I have seen many psychiatrists, and Doctor Taheri-Tafreshi is by far the best. Perhaps the problem is that people aren't used to seeing psychiatrists and are put off by the personal questions. Other psychiatrists are similarly direct when discussing difficult subjects. It is difficult to get anywhere in therapy without discussing problems, so perhaps they are put off with his straightforward manner.     VA Doctor

    This is a VA doctor who lives up to the reputation the VA has for having terrible doctors. He just doesn't know what he's doing and when a patient questions his judgment, he becomes very abusive. He was very sexual with me as a female patient and he scared me. He is undereducated for the position that he is in.     Worst Psychiatrist I've Ever Had

    Dr. Taheri is the absolute worst psychiatrist I have ever had. I believe that his cultural background makes it extremely difficult for him to understand American women. I experienced him to be extremely prejudiced toward me as a woman and he was very hard to work with.
