Dr. Geskin's team aims to provide multidisciplinary care to skin cancer patients, to conduct cutting edge clinical and basic science research, and to train medical students, residents and fellows in the area of cutaneous oncology. Dr. Geskin completed her residency in Dermatology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and a two-year fellowship in cutaneous oncology at University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) with Louis Falo, MD, PhD, Professor and Chairman, Department of Dermatology, UPMC, and with John Kirkwood, MD, Professor and Vice Chairman for Clinical Research, Director of the Melanoma Center at the UPCI. She is a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the Society for Investigative Dermatology, the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas, and US Cutaneous Lymphomas Consortium. She authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in the field of cutaneous oncology. Her research interest focuses on Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and biomarkers discovery, genetic profiling and regulation, development of immunotherapy for melanoma and lymphoma.
