He completed neurology residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he won the Dr. John J. Caronna Award for clinical excellence, and subsequently completed a vascular neurology fellowship at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is board certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a member of the American Heart Association and American Academy of Neurology.
