Dr. Bender changed my life for the better. I met him at age 12 and he was instrumental in my health getting better. He cares about his patients deeply. Now as an adult living with Sickle cell disease, I wish more doctors out here would show more concern for the life of the ones that theyre treating like Dr. Bender did for all his patients. Sickle Cell Disease is not regarded so as a chronic blood disease please take better care of us patients with this disease.
