Despite all the negative comments in these reviews, Dr. Spears is a highly talented and brilliantly skilled surgeon who is an expert in his field. My recent back surgery was flawlessly performed and my recovery was fast and painless. Dr. Spears is a military veteran who tells it like it is - very straightforward and sometimes brunt. He’s not a warm and fuzzy, hold your hand type of doctor but he’ll give you an honest assessment of your medical problem and what he can do to fix them. Top-notch.
