After receiving his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University (Providence, RI), he completed his medical internship and internal medicine residency at Harvard Medical School, Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, MA.


    During his career, Dr. Smith has served on the medical staff of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham, Bridgewater Goddard Park Medical Associates, and the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
