Dr. Suryadevara is a competent provider of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, she is uncaring about her patients' side effects, and does not respond to requests for medications to relieve extreme nausea and constipation (nor, evidently, does she allow her staff to do so). In the old days, doctors were notoriously uncaring about pain, but it's now understood that pain management is an important part of therapy. Evidently Dr. Suryadevara did not get the message.
