He is a graduate of Emory University where he completed residency training in dermatology serving as chief resident for the program. His passion for teaching and connecting with patients has developed over years of training and service including eight years at the University of Utah where he completed a combined MD/PhD degree with a focus on tumor immunology and promoting immune responses to various cancers including melanoma.
Thomas is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is fluent in both Spanish and English. He is from a small farming community in southeast Idaho, where he learned the importance of service within his community. Thomas is excited to provide excellent care to the adults and children of Lilburn and its surrounding communities. He is active in his local church and enjoys spending time with his family riding bikes, playing sports, and traveling.
