I had a 15 minute consult with Dr. Chen on April 21, 2014 and was charged $325. When I called to discuss this with Cathy Ann, his receptionist, she told me I should have researched the rates of "specialists" before coming because they are not allowed to discuss fees during the visit. FIFTEEN minutes! He didn't take vitals or draw blood. He just asked about my family history and requested blood work and patient history. This is exactly the type of greed that plagues our medical system today.
