Look at the negative reviews for a common thread. He will only address one issue at a time, even if they are related. you will get your 15 minutes on a single topic, that they can bill for. Any other questions or concerns are dismissed and you have to schedule a separate appointment for them, they don't even want to hear what it is, not billable. I was saddened when I read some of these reviews. Unfortunately, I didnt start looking until after I experienced several unpleasant occurrences with Dr. Richard Kay. I will list my concerns from least to most offensive. Wait time. The doctor doesnt even see you until an hour AFTER your appointment. I have never be discriminated against to this degree. This guy is a terrible physician. My experience n his office was absolutely deplorable. I had gone to several DRs before I started going to Dr. Kay .I felt like I was in a production line, a number on file, however, after my appointment with Dr. Kay I felt like he listened to my health problems and perscribed accordingly. He and all of his staff are always professonal, yet, very friendly and truly conserned with my health. Dr. Kay and his staff have always treated me in a way that has long been forgotten. It harkens back to the days when the doctors came to you, took there time, and addressed all your issues thouroughly and carefully. Dr Kay stands alone as a doctor who practices these principals in todays fast paced medical system. I could not be happier with my choice of primary care physician.

From the minute I chose Dr Kay as my primary physician over three years ago, I have been continually reminded of why I did. He takes the time to listen and has always shown true care and concern for my health and well being. The office staff are always friendly and warm. When I visit Dr Kay's office I feel like I am more than a number, more than a patient, I feel like family. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great doctor!

The worst doctor I have ever experienced in my life. I went to him every other week for almost two months with the same symptoms and he would never acknowledge the symptoms I was explaining to him and his nurse. It was always, Oh we will talk about that next time, and we dont have time for that today, when this would be the purpose of the visit. I would not return to this practice, I found them to be very unprofessional. I spent so much time waiting and felt that I was being rushed everytime. I also find the staff very rude and arrogant. I would not recommend this doctors office. I also question their ability.

Don't expect more than your 15 minutes. Any other concerns or questions you're expected to schedule a separate appointment, It's all about the billable codes I supposed we're down to 15 minute care, warranted or not . This is an inherent problem in our "for profit" healthcare system. I was put on meds that I found out later I did not need. I called when a potentially serious side effect occurred,from those very same meds, early on a Friday. They managed to get back to me late in the day Monday. ...

I have been using Dr. Kay's services for just over a year now and found his office to be both very professional and accommodating. One of the best things about seeing Dr.Kay is you will never feel rushed or that he didn't answer all your questions...it's great not to feel like a number and treated by someone that truly cares! They have great office hours (open late and Saturdays!)so I am not forced to change my day or lose out on valuable work hours.

As a new patient in Dr. Kay's office, I was initially pleased with the level of service. Today upon arriving for my scheduled appointment I was informed by the receptionist that my appt was on the 25th. I believe an error was made on their part, but I was willing to wait to be seen. I was called back to the desk and I was asked why I was there. I informed her that I was there to discuss certain results and to have a medication adjusted.
