Dr. Brett Fouss, DO

At first I thought he was very knowledgeable and liked to help people. After seeing him for nearly half a year, my therapist notified him about my suicidal thoughts and he followed up by discharging me as his patient. He charges exorbitant fees and takes no insurance. I believe that he doesn't have any accountability and that's for a reason. I discovered that there are NUMEROUS other psychiatrists in this city who charge much less, went to better schools, and have way more experience. His fancy office seemed to be about smoke and mirrors to cover up his incompentence. He couldn't get my meds right, did not get my depression stabilized,nor did he get my refills right.

He reinforced my notion that all men are jerks. I was trying to work through some issues related to the relationship with my father and suffering from depression. When he learned of my suicide mode, he fired me. Thanks for helping me work through my issues NOT! He has moved around a lot, is very expensive compared to other psychiatrists - whom I was forced to see because of him - and has less experience than most of them.
