Dr. Nader Moinfar, MD

I have known Dr. Nader Moinfar since 2002 when I became his patient. I will not go to another retinal specialist as I plan to follow him to where ever he is practicing medicine. I experienced a severe case of uveitis which eventually led to losing vision in one eye. After this event, I was introduced to Dr. Moinfar who initiated a treatment protocol which saved the vision in my other eye. Dr. Moinfar has been instrumental in tracking my eye health ever since. He has always made himself available to me or my wife if we had any questions regarding possible flare-ups due to adverse life events, such as a motor vehicle accident. We have found him to be a man of great integrity and compassion who will first listen and then respond to a patient or spouse’s specific concerns, taking time to explain options for treatment and making sure that everyone involved understands a specific optimum treatment process going forward. The hospital called in Dr. Moinfar to evaluate my baby's eyes; she was born premature and had bad retinal problems (retinopathy of prematurity). Dr. Moinfar was in that same afternoon, rearranged his entire office schedule for the following morning to be able to do surgery on my infant daughter's eyes. He treated us like his own family. Explained everything in detail, and sat down with us to answer all our questions and concerns. My wife and I have never felt so cared for in our lives - and our little daughter is doing great!
