Alone or in combination with traditional surgery or chemotherapy, ?treatments such as trans-arterial radioembolization (a.k.a. selective internal radiation therapy), trans-arterial chemoembolization and percutaneous thermal tumor ablation offer improved survival and quality of life and, in some cases, cure.
