Afterwards, I was experiencing SEVERE pain and noticed a small grey area on the incision. During the post op visit, I told him that I felt my finger was infected and asked for an antibiotic, which he refused to prescribe, resulting in a raging staph infection, which almost caused the loss of my finger.
