I hesitated to have this surgery,but boy am I glad I did! My surgery was easy peasy and my recovery was a breeze. I’m very happy with the scar ….even at four months in its looking very good. I’m a very pleased patient of Dr Cottrill.

Dr Cottrill performed parathyroid gland removal surgery on me.The surgery was successful.My experience with the staff before and after the surgery was professional,kind and very reassuring.I was very anxious about the surgery.My recovery period was made much less stressful by the amazing post surgery notes provided by Dr Cottrill….they were through,easy to understand and written for a non medical person. I cannot stress enough how helpful her notes were to me.I’ve had a few surgeries and no other doctor has provided this much helpful information! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Cottrill! Leslie ( her nurse?) was very kind and reassuring.

I feel so fortunate to have had Dr. Cottrill as my provider. She spent considerable time easing the concerns of my parents and myself before, during and after surgery. She got second opinions on every test result and ultrasound I had along the way, and even got me in for an additional biopsy before surgery to make sure I wouldn't have to remove my entire thyroid due to cancer concerns. On surgery day, I was excited to see her! Her sense of calm and great bedside manner put me immediately at ease. I never once felt concerned with how my surgery would go. Her printed instructions for after surgery care was so helpful, as I couldn't remember most of what nurses told me to do after surgery. The surgical site healed up wonderfully with no complications. Dr. Cottrill also has an amazing team that works hard to double check results and give thorough analyses.

Dr. Cottrill is fantastic and very professional. She is very pleasant and very friendly. I was in great hands with her and her staff and appreciated all the attention she offered to me. Nice and clear when giving instructions about my care.
