Knowing I was looking at having another neck fusion, this one located on C2,3 I was very nervous and honestly scared . My first neck fusion was a bad experience. I recently went to see Dr. Grossman to address a pinched nerve In my back that was excruciating. The pain was relentless and I had seen 2 other doctors to check out some options to help me. They suggested surgery but I still wanted another opinion. Dr. Grossman saw me quickly and did a thorough assessment of my condition. He was caring, empathetic, and was genuinely concerned with finding the best solution for my pain. Rather than suggesting surgery he helped me manage my pain and guided me towards a rehab regimen which alleviated the severity and got me on the road to recovery. I was grateful that rather than rush to surgery, which would have been a longer recovery and much more dangerous, he put my needs first. I am forever grateful for his patience and commitment to helping me down the right path instead of the quickest one.
