Following medical school, he completed?Internal Medicine residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston. He then completed?his training in cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow.Dr. McCullough's main clinical interests?include studying methods to?improve the cardiovascular education of trainees,?how?diagnostic testing?can be?best?utilized to make appropriate therapeutic recommendations for patients, and?the role of diagnostic testing?in identifying our patients at highest risk. He is a proud father, a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, and the American College of Cardiology.
