Dr. Santelli is great. She assessed and treated my laceration/head wound in the Brackenridge ER this Memorial Day weekend. She and the staff at Brackenridge completely respected my authority in the health care decision making process. My injury resulted in 10 stitches, which she did with a steady and confident hand. She addressed all of my needs and concerns, explaining what tests were necessary and why. She even took extra time to allow for my emotional needs regarding my fear of stitches.
