Prior to joining Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Schonfeld spent three years as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Colorado Hospital.??????Dr. Schonfeld is a transplant hepatologist who specializes in the care of patients with all types of liver disease, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, autoimmune liver disease, metabolic liver disease, cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma. She evaluates patients who need liver transplants, provides medical management to patients before and after liver transplant, and helps care for patients with end stage liver disease.???
