    Dr. Jennifer Soo Hoo is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She serves as Medical Director of the Adult Sports Medicine Service and Associate Chair of Graduate Medical Education and Faculty Development. She also serves as Fellowship Director of the New York Presbyterian (NYP) Sports Fellowship Program as well as Assistant Residency Program Director of NYP Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Medicine Residency Program. She is a dual board-certified physician in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She specializes in providing comprehensive non-operative sports medicine care for active individuals. She is highly skilled in an array of ultrasound guided joint injections and tendon procedures as well as cutting edge regenerative medicine procedures including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and ESWT (shockwave therapy) to help improve patient's pain and restore function.?Dr. Soo Hoo is currently a U.S Soccer Network Physician and works with the US Soccer U-20 women?s team and the US Women's CP Soccer team.?Dr. Soo Hoo has particular expertise in treating acute and chronic sports injuries and tendon injury.? She takes a personalized approach to evaluating each active individual. She uses her personal experience as a former collegiate soccer player as well as current experiences as a team physician for professional sports teams to better understand and guide her patients. Her research interests include musculoskeletal ultrasound, tendinopathy management, shockwave therapy, and injury prevention.?She also enjoys teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.?Dr. Soo Hoo attended Case Western Reserve University?s medical school program. She subsequently completed her residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington, where she also served as Chief Resident.
