After getting two other second opinions, it seems that Dr. Troia's initial opinion on my foot surgery was not extensive enough to correct my problem. In addition, no one in the office helped me figure out my costs beforehand. Without knowing if my surgery would cost me $1000 or $10,000, I decided to opt for another office who gave me a medical opinion more in line with my foot condition, and that went over my estimated costs before the surgery.
