I 've never experienced a doctor who exemplified so much empathy. Dr. Atwater is the type of surgeon who completes a task and checks on you after the surgery up to your discharge. He is concerned with the patient's well-being and wants to get to the root of the problem. He is awesome and whatever facility receives him is receiving a gift. He actually cares and isn't afraid to say if it is an area in which he is not knowledgeable at. He will find out for you and pass along anything he acquires.
