He then went onto a prestigious Ophthalmology Residency at Michigan State University and additional Fellowship training in Corneal disease and Uveitis at UCSF, University of California San Francisco. Through out all of Dr. Marneris extensive training he has always been at the top of his class, ranking in the top 1%, including scoring in the top 1% on the difficult OKAP (Ophthalmic Knowledge Assessment Program) examination. He is a recipient of the prestigious Patrick Murray Award. He has numerous publications on laser refractive surgery and glaucoma along with participating in clinical trials for glaucoma and cataract surgery. Dr. Marneris has a clinical interest in Advanced Cataract and Refractive Surgery, glaucoma, uveitis and retinal disease.
