During his residency he served as Chief Resident and received an award for Exceptional Performance. Dr Uddin pursued his fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill-Cornell Medicine after which he was recruited as a physician scientist in the Division of Endocrinology.In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Uddin works in the Rafii Laboratory in the Division of Regenerative Medicine on pancreatic beta cell technologies to improve understanding of diabetes mellitus and other metabolic conditions.
