At 54, have never been to an eye doctor, but cataracts forced my hand. Went to him simply based upon closeness. And very pleased with the results. Seeing clearly 1 day after surgery - couldn't be happier. Still in the recovery phase, 3 days in, but very optimistic. Couldn't afford the laser procedure or the high tec lens, which gives you perfect near and far vision, but quite happy, so far, with great vision from about 3' onward.
