Dr. Eggleston displayed competence and compassion in what could have been a difficult battle with breast cancer. He took the time to explain my options and the details of my surgery. My confidence in his expertise took so much stress out of the typical "worry" that I normally would have had before undergoing surgery. I was initially only concerned with not looking "frankesteinish" after a double mastectomy. I am delighted that my breasts actually look better after reconstruction than they did before. My experience with Dr. Eggleston & his staff was absolutely a blessing. It was an emotional journey for me it was so hard to talk about my mastectomy but they made me feel comfortable I could never image my breast looking so beautiful but they are thanks to Dr.Eggleston. His work was so good that after my doctor accused me of lying about have the mastectomy that's how good his work is.My journey started with strangers & ended with family.

From the moment I met Dr. Eggleston, I was comfortable and confident that he would be the best surgeon to take care of me until the end of my journey with Cancer. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about the entire breast cancer diagnosis and surgical treatment, he easily and thoroughly explains each step in the process. His late night phone calls to check on my well-being, his willingness to always take more time to answer all of my questions and his sincere smiles, handshakes, and hugs always make me feel like everything is going to turn out okay. On my last visit today, I am somewhat saddened that I will no longer be a patient of his, but I will definitely be in the world and let anyone I know that if they must make the difficult decision that I had to, he is the surgeon that they want to hold their hand through the journey. I am so pleased with the outcome of my mastectomy and DIEP flap reconstruction! Dr. Eggleston is a God Send! Thank you!

Everyone's true compassion for my cancer diagnoses and what my options were and spending as much time as needed. Walking with me through the whole process with tenderness and respect helped me to accept and have have hope. Today I am in remission and have an amazing reconstructed breasts. After knowing you have a breast cancer diagnosis and will want reconstruction, it is hard to know all of the choices and information. Dr. Eggleston really took the time explaining all of my options and he was so personable about everything. When going through this it really helped to have a doctor that truly cares. I had a DIEP flap with reconstruction and I am beyond happy with my results. He did an amazing job. I feel so blessed and lucky to have had him as my doctor. The staff was always ready available to help and answer any questions too. I recommend him as a doctor if you want someone that will take the time and make sure you are comfortable with the results. I know I am!

From first phone contact to most recent follow up appointment Dr. Eggleston and his team have been nothing but wonderful. Highly skilled, great bedside manner, trustworthy and professional!!

Dr Eggleston and Melissa are exceptional caregivers. I had 3 previous surgeries this year and felt this was my last chance to get things corrected. Dr Eggleston listened to my issues and gave easy to understand explanations. After surgery, my husband said all his questions were answered and he was given reassurance. The next day, Dr. Eggleston called my home to check on me. The results of my surgery are wonderful and my pain is so much better.This doctor is a find physican and caring human.

Dr. Eggleston is the friendliest and most open doc I have ever had. He listens, he answers questions, he spends mucho time with me. He answers questions that my family has as well. He explained everything in detail before surgery. After surgery was done it was all that he had explained and more. He has a heart of gold and I would recommend him to anyone in need of a good surgeon.
