I had a perfect colonoscopy experience this week with Dr. Haber and staff at MEC. From arrival to departure was about two hours in total. I was processed quickly, everything was clearly explained to me, before, during and after the procedure. As a Medicare patient, I was told the cost of the procedure was covered and I owed $0. My experience was as good as it could possibly be for a colonoscopy.

Doctor Haber reviewed all my tests from another hospital quickly and efficiently. He listened to my concerns and more importantly he prepared a detailed written summary of my GI history. He also uploaded it to my chart so I had access to his notes. I noticed that things I forgot to mention to him was caught in his report. He staff allowed me to complete blood test etc near my home. Excellent doctor and support staff.

I wouldn’t want to be treated by any other doctor for this procedure. I’d recommend him to everyone. The 2 hour delay was understandable, but I wish a staff member would’ve informed me of the delay rather than just sitting there wondering what was going on. It made feel anxious.
