Dr. Kashif Alvi, MD

I was recommended to see Dr. Alvi by my Primary Care Physician as Deseret Family Medicine. My tests results were 273. I saw Dr. Alvi for a office prostate exam and he suggested a biopsy. When the biopsy results came back he advised me that there were multiple Cancers in my prostate and that I need surgery as soon as possible. I went into Surgery 10 days later at Mountain Vista Hospital. His surgical team was fantastic. Although my surgery (Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy) was a little longer than normal, I had very little pain while I was in the Hospital. It has now been 6 months and thanks to Dr. Alvi, I am Cancer free. He saved my Life.

Everything from the beginning was very unprofessional and a terrible experience with Dr. Alvi. I came into the office for my vasectomy consultation only to have the appointment cancelled because he read my file and was too busy.
