In addition, he is skilled in enteric stent placement and removal of complex polyps. After graduating from University of Illinois College of Medicine, Dr. Brown completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado Hospital and later served as an academic hospitalist at the Denver VA Medical Center teaching internal medicine trainees. He pursued fellowship training in general gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio. Dr. Brown finished his training as an advanced endoscopy fellow at Columbia University Medical Center in New York and is now the Director of Interventional Endoscopy at Lawrence Hospital. His research interests are pancreaticobiliary diseases and he is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the American Medical Association.
