Who is Dr. Johnson, Dermatologist in Bend, OR?

Dr. Mariah Johnson obtained her M.D. at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. After medical school she entered and completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR and she completed a year-long fellowship at the University of California San Francisco as a Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatology oncologist. Her specialties include, medical and cosmetic dermatology, and skin cancer treatments including Mohs surgery. Inspired to become a dermatologist by multiple mentors masterful in dermatologic diagnostics, she says, “It is incredibly rewarding to visualize patients’ concerns and see their issues resolve with treatment.” Her love for all things dermatology shines through as she shares, “The skin is a fascinating organ as a window into our internal health, genetics, and environmental exposures. A multitude of health information can be gleaned simply by examining the skin.”

A fan of quirky humor, she also enjoys painting portraits and drawing. And in perfect complement to Bend’s active lifestyle culture she is a fan of cycling, hiking, and yoga. Most especially she enjoys quality time with her husband and their two dogs.
