After graduating from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences with research honors, Dr. Kanis completed her residency in OB/GYN at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the Northwestern School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois.
