He provides comprehensive eye exams for corneal conditions, cataracts, diabetes, dry eye, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medicine and Assistant Attending Ophthalmologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Nguyen was born in Virginia and grew up in New York and New Jersey. He graduated from Columbia University in New York with a BA in Neuroscience and Behavior. He remained in New York for his MD at Columbia University?s College of Physicians and Surgeons, where he was awarded the Behrens Memorial Prize in Ophthalmology. He received his ophthalmology residency training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was given the Distinguished Housestaff Award. Following residency, he completed a cornea fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. He was in private practice in the Boston area prior to returning to Cornell.Dr. Nguyen is currently accepting new patients; appointments can be made by calling (646) 962-2020.
