He completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University—one of the nation’s longest running and most distinguished programs of its kind.



Before his fellowship, Dr. Johnson completed an intensive five-year residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Augusta University Health. During his training, he earned consecutive high-score awards on national in-service examinations, a distinction that underscores his commitment to surgical mastery and academic excellence.



Dr. Johnson was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in his third year of medical school—an honor reserved for the top medical students nationwide. His educational background is uniquely comprehensive: prior to pursuing medicine, he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Georgia.
