I underwent an 8.5 hour esophagastric ectomybto remove my stage four esophageal stomach cancers. The outcome was amazing, though rehab took a lot of effort. At 58, my extensive stage 4 tumor and cancer had spread to my stomach and six of seven lymph nodes.
However, the surgery went on, though extensive, because I was still a "young man". As far as I bam concerned, nearly a year later, I am happy. I can eat, and do nearly everything I did before, though I eat a lot less and more often. Their care and concern were par none other.
Though my stage 4 cancer had mnatastisized and I am now undergoing chemo for two small liver spots, my main cancer was taken care of. I will continue to fight. But Dr. Nuthakki and Dr. Krisnan are outstanding in their field, I give them ten stars!
