I came in with severe knee pain today as an emergency patient. Dr. Tefera was so nice, extremely skilled and professional. She put me at ease immediately. I was given a thorough exam. My knee was so painful, Dr. Tefera gave me a cortizone injection. It was the first time I didn't feel ANY pain with the injection. I've had injections in the past with other orthopedic doctors and it was so painful. Not only was Dr. Tefera the best orthopedic doctor I've ever seen, her staff was outstanding too, Dominique, Lashelle and Jacob, they are an exceptional staff. Several times I questioned if I was in a "real" doctors office because I have never had this kind of relaxing, confident service with an Orthopedic physician and staff. I was so afraid to do the PRP injections with fear of pain and being off my feet for over a week with a meniscus tear in my right knee. The process was very smooth. Dr. Tefera and her team prepared me with a wealth of information and step-by-step procedures of what to expect. I wish I had done this sooner! I couldn't be happier to be on the mend; healthier and stronger!

Dr. Tefera has wonderful bedside manner. She truly takes the time to hear and listen to the patient's experience fully. I appreciated that she was willing to investigate symptoms that came up during conversations and exams, even when they were not directly related to the initial visit. She was patient, and she took the time to get to the bottom of the issues that I was experiencing. She made sure that I understood the diagnosis, could ask any questions I had, and that I felt comfortable with the treatment plan.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Tefera. I began coming to ROSM in November 2020 due to pain caused by constriction of my radial nerve. While Dr. Ferrell provided an initial diagnosis, I began working with Dr. Tefera at my second appointment. She answered all my questions clearly and talked through whatever she was doing. She made sure I understood my options, and I appreciated her commitment to starting with less-invasive procedures. I always felt like I was in good hands with Dr. Tefera.

Not only was Dr. Tefera thorough and knowledgeable, she took the time to make sure I understood my diagnosis and care plan at every step in the process. She is a joy to work with and will be my go to Doctor for any issues that might arise in the future. Additionally, I found the staff at her office to be so friendly and effortlessly competent. While I didn't enjoy my injury or long term pain, I did enjoy every moment of my time with Dr. Tefera and ROSM.

Dr. Tefera did ultrasound and identified hamstring tendonopathy. She recommended physical theraphy and gave me information about some exercises I can do on my own.
