Nice doctor. Seems very knowledgeable and insightful. My endoscopy found pre-cancerous changes in my stomach along with a H. pylori infection and early ulcers. With my family history of stomach cancer I am glad I got it done. He treated the infection and my symptoms are resolving. Thank you Dr. M!

I was having severe heartburn for nearly 5 years despite various treatments. I finally saw Dr. Mantas who did an endoscopy and found that I did not have reflux as the cause of my heartburn but rather something called eosinophilic esophagitis. So glad I found Dr. Mantas! We started treatment and I am feeling great!

Dr. Mantas performed a colonoscopy on me last week. I was very nervous about it and dreaded it doing for several years. However, when I arrived at his center, the staff was very reassuring and friendly. Dr. Mantas and his staff took their time making me feel comfortable and relaxed. The colonoscopy went great! There are a lot of misconceptions about the procedure. The bowel prep was quite easy and I was entirely asleep for the procedure. I really felt fine afterwards but took the rest of the day off. I would highly recommend having the procedure done because it isn't nearly as bad as I thought. I would also highly recommend using Dr. Mantas and his staff to perform the procedure. While out on the golf course one day, I indicated to a friend that I was having trouble with acid reflux. He was a patient of Dr. Mantas and highly recommended him. I decided to make an appointment and was seen in a very timely manner. After examining me and scheduling some routine tests, it was in fact determined that it was just a simple case of acid reflux. Dr. Mantas prescribed a medication that has completely taken care of the problem. I appreciated the fact that he was very thorough--running tests to rule out other things and not just prescribing medication on my symptoms alone. I made an appointment with Dr. Mantas for stomach pains I had been having on a regular basis, but was unsure of the cause. Dr. Mantas saw me on time and was very patient with me; he answered all of my questions, suggested affordable options for treatment and scheduled a follow up appointment to see if my symptoms improved, which they did.
