Dr. Aberle operated on me to perform a total thyroidectomy in April 2013. Thyroid cancer was found. In November 2013 when my endo did my first post-op ultrasound, she saw the I still had my right thyroid, which was in the same place the right lobe of the thyroid is in most people. I had to have a second surgery in December 2013 to remove the right thyroid that she left in by mistake. I am being billed for the second surgery and was offered no apology or reimbursement for the failed first surgery.
