Rajesh K. Malik, MD, is the division chief of vascular surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is board-certified in both general and vascular surgery.His practice includes the full spectrum of vascular disease, with a particular interest in treating complex aortic diseases such as aortic dissection, aortic aneurysm, and peripheral arterial disease (PAD) through the use of endovascular and open surgical techniques. He is also an expert at treating venous conditions like deep vein thrombosis and other deep venous pathologies.Dr. Malik earned his medical degree at New York Medical College, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his surgery residency at NYU Langone Medical Center and a vascular surgery fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital.
