I realized he's a very good doctor
I was misdiagnosed by a doctor in Georgetown and transfered to Dr. Doering who correctly diagnosed my condition. He always takes his time to explain things to me so I understand.

Eye surgery went well and Dr.Doering ‘s after surgery treatment instructions could not have been easier to follow. We feel very comfortable under his care. Eyesight is prescious.

My favorite doctor as he is very gentle.
He has kept me seeing for over 10 years for with a positive attitude that he can keep me seeing. He is an expert and answers all questions I have. I have been to many eye doctors as I have moved a lot but he is the very, very best that has taken care of me. He has a marvelous sense of humor as well as an excellent ability to diagnose problems. As long as he is available I will never see a different doctor‼️

Appointment today was excellent
I was so pleased to receive such a quick response to check both of my eyes for torn retinas on same day. I have been going to Dr. Doering since 2015. He has been thorough and accommodating. I realize he has alot of patients and performs many surgeries daily, which causes sometime a delay for those waiting. This is not a criticism for it can't be helped. Thank you, Dr. Doering for your giving me your time to ask you questions when I need an answer.

Very courteous and professional staff

Pretty close to being the perfect doctor/surgeon
Because of a bad auto accident years ago, I get very nervous and tense when It is an eye doctor I am going to see. Dr. Doerning and his nurses made me un-tense and relax. They explained each little detail and allowed me the time I needed to relax. I love Dr. D’s humor!!

Succinct diagnosis and plan for treatment
I am grateful for the practices on call physician, Dr Hazelton who consulted with my son on the phone with the concern of a possible detached retina. The staff accommodated me by working me into the next day schedule where I was seen by Dr Doering. He was able to immediately allay any concern about a detached retina. He did diagnose narrow-angle glaucoma and explained how it was occurring and a plan for treatment. Again, thankful for his expertise and time given to see me.
