Who is Dr. Rosenbluth, Obstetrician in San Ramon, CA?
Evan Rosenbluth, M.D., chose an unconventional path to reproductive medicine. He combined his love for photography with his degree in psychology as a photojournalist interacting and documenting the lives of countless wonderful people throughout the world. Longing to make a more tangible difference, he spent several more years teaching adaptive sport for people with disabilities. One day, while teaching on the slopes, he had an epiphany that medicine was the path for him. Within two weeks he drove across the country to start a one-year intensive post-baccalaureate program to fulfill his medical school requirements.
He was fast-tracked directly into Tulane medical school where he not only received his medical degree but develop a passion for cooking- especially Cajun cuisine! He matched at the busiest OB/GYN residencies in the country (University of Utah) where he delivered over 1200 babies. He won top surgical honors and research awards that led to patents for novel gynecological devices. He was accepted to one of the premiere Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowships at the University of Iowa where he continued his award-winning research pioneering non-invasive methods to evaluate embryonic health. He was instrumental in starting the country’s first single embryo transfer policy; a practice which he brought to RSC and is now the American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s standard of care.
Today, he is a senior partner at RSC and continues his love for interacting with his diverse patients from the rich and vibrant community of the Bay Area and beyond. He enjoys all aspects of reproductive care and particularly enjoys treating complex Mullerian anomalies requiring surgery and providing inclusive fertility care for individuals with disabilities and members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
He draws on his wide-breadth experience to connect with his patients and combine his knowledge of evidence-based medicine with each patient’s individual concerns and goals. He enjoys a team-based approach to formulate a personalized care plan individualized to each patient to ultimately help achieve their goals.
Dr. Rosenbluth serves as the Surgical Director and Sonography Director at RSC. He is a senior partner and is double board certified in both OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
He enjoys traveling the world with his family, interacting with as many people as possible, and documenting it all with his camera. He practices at the San Ramon office where you will find his photographs hanging on the office walls.
