I arrived most appointments feeling uneasy about the changes I was experiencing, but always left feeling at ease. Dr. Thorn always had time for my questions and concerns. My many thanks to Dr. thorn and her staff.

After my old Dr. moved, I went to Dr. Thorne for my 2nd pregnancy. She did not want to discuss any other ways to deliver since I had a c-section on my 1st. She recommended that I go to another dr. if I wanted to explore any other options. Further, she ordered $1000's of $$ worth of blood work done that was already done during my 1st pregnancy. I love Dr.Thorn she is very sweet and soft spoken. Dr. Thorn was very rude and talked down to me throughout my L&D. She treated me like an idiot, which I am not. She wasted hours of my time in the hospital, not showing up until many hours after she promised and making herself unavailable to me for questions. Not only that, but she is very mis-educated and completely conservative/traditional in her birthing thoughts. With my 2nd pregnancy with Dr Thorn she decided to stop beign my primary physcian at 25 weeks out of the blue. When I asked her why she did not figure this out 20 weeks ago as none of my risk factors had changed she just kept saying I needed to see a Dr in San Antonio instead. Dr Thorn is inadequate and a shameful exmaple of a medical professional. I do not recommend Dr. Thorn to any one. I have never posted anything about a physician before and hopefully will not have to do it again. Dr. Thorn returns phone calls she deems important to her not you. If she does return your phone call she makes you feel as if you are inconveniencing her. This Dr. also talks down to her staff and makes the environment very uncomfortable.
