Ladies and Gentlemen, this review is only for Phay Huy Huynh, PA-C for NY Hand Surgery Brooklyn & Queens Offices, not for Dr. Vipul Patel, MD. On Tuesday May 3, 2022, I had an appointment with Phay Huy Huynh, the PA-C of NY Hand Surgery of Brooklyn and Queens Offices, in regarding another finger problem that I currently have since April 17, 2012. Phay suggests that I have another MRI in regarding my left index finger situation.

My experience with Dr. Patel was amazing, and would highly recommend to anyone who needs any sort of hand surgery.
Dr. Patel has been a great provider for my broken finger. From my first visit, to my surgery, to my last visit, he's always been very informative with every part of the process and explains everything in easy to understand details. The staff within this office has been very kind and informative as well throughout the whole process.

Repair a severed tendon in my hand
This could not have gone better. Dr. Patel correctly diagnosed that I had severed my tendon and preformed surgery to repair it. He met with me periodically throughout the rehab process and gave me a shot which significantly reduced the swelling. He was patient, kind, and thoughtful.

The staff are so kind and friendly, everyone from the reception staff to the PA and Dr Patel himself. I was told I needed surgery and was a little nervous about it but they took their time to explain everything, booked me in for the following week and the surgery went so smoothly. I can't recommend this place enough. Great sense of humor too :) Clean facility and all round fantastic service

Dr. Patel and the PA's are one of the top HAND practices in NYC!
The Doctor and staff are very professional. The support staff is very courteous. The Doctor and staff listen to what's bothering you and they prescribe a plan and give you the necessary therapy that brings you back to almost 100%. I recommend this practice highly to anyone who has hand and arm problems.

Dr. Patel is an amazing surgeon on top of having an excellent beside demeanor. Despite having emergency surgery, I never felt rushed or unsure of the process and expected results. My aftercare was amazing a well. Highly recommened.

Didnt just do what others had done and dismiss me. He listened and acted.
I came to Dr. Patel because of a poor surgery by a prior Dr. I was only looking for a report to close my case. He could have just done the report and moved in. Instead, he tested, re-assessed, and acted to try to make my situation better. Just off the basis of actually caring about patients, I recommend Dr. Patel.

Incredibly comprehensive support and care
Dr. Patel was extremely knowledgeable with my case. His confidence and expertise was reassuring for someone who does not have much experience with the healthcare system. I would absolutely recommend him in the future.

Treatment--including surgery, physical therapy and office visits--excellent!
In the emergency room following the car accident that caused my wrist fracture, I was promised that the surgeon taking care of me would be excellent. The accident had caused me great trauma, uncertain that use of my hand and relief from pain would ever be fully achieved. Dr. Patel was so very reassuring from the moment he introduced himself prior to surgery, and has made sure I have received the highest level of treatment. That initial assurance in the ER was definitely fulfilled.
