Dr Hiesterman took care of our 6 year-old son's elbow fracture and dislocation. He was extremely patient and explained everything so that we all understood. This was very helpful and calming. You could tell that he really cares for his patients.

Surgery was a success!
Dr Hiesterman gets a huge thank you for being my surgeon. My collar bone surgery was a success...I have no pain and full range of motion in my arm. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, I appreciate everything he did to get me healed and back to work quickly. Dr Hiesterman is a blessing to many people as he is able to heal and make their lives pain-free. Thank you again for your good work.

What a great surgeon!
No words can say how much we appreciate Dr Hiesterman for being our son's surgeon. We were truly moved by his professionalism and caring for our son. When he broke his foot, we were impressed that he got him into surgery so quickly. That put us at ease as parents. He had the best care that anyone could have gotten and now he is healed without any pain. Dr Hiesterman's care mean't the world to us and we will continue to tell everyone what a great surgeon he is.

Dr Hiesterman ROCKS!
Dr Hiesterman was an amazing surgeon when our youngest son broke his arm this past summer. He was our first child to break something, so we didn't really know what to expect. He totally explained everything to us so we knew what was going to happen. He was terrified, but Dr Hiesterman made him feel so much better with his kind, encouraging words. After surgery, Dr Hiesterman came to the waiting room to talk to me about how things went and he said that he fixed him up as he would have his own son. I knew then that we ended up with an outstanding and caring doctor and that he was in the best hands that I could have asked for. I am a nurse myself and have seen some not so great doctors, so I feel blessed that Dr Hiesterman was the one that took care of us.

Exemplary care provided with Dr. Hiesterman and his care team!
St. Cloud Orthopedics was there for me from the day I broke my wrist through recovery. Dr. Hiesterman's team provides exemplary care from the moment you walk through the door. They care for your well being as an entity, both physically and emotionally. I was anxious going into surgery, but Dr. Histerman and his assistant Hans Backlund reassured me by providing me knowledge and thoroughly answering my questions. His nurses were present in their duties, too. His team demonstrates the care you should receive when you walk through any health care setting. I would recommend their care to anyone looking for orthopedic services!

How thankful we are!!!
When our son injured his hip, the whole situation was stressful and scary for our entire family, yet the way you cared for him and explained everything honestly and in the way that we could understand made a world of difference. Having the knowledge and skills to be and excellent doctor is one thing, but to also be sincere and care about your patients as individuals can be equally important in the big scheme of things. We really appreciated that. Dr Hiesterman is great gift and a blessing to the medical field!

after traumatic fall appreciative of such great care
After falling and going to ER, X-rays completed and Dr Hiesterman came in and said what needed to be done. Following surgery next day he spoke with my family and displayed competent, professional care but showed empathy at same time and gave clear explanation of plan of care going forward. We really appreciated his PA Hans Backlund. He has been very kind and competent and shown compassion at f/u visits.

One of the most compassionate, patient, caring Doc's you'll see!
From the very fist visit to the last Dr. Hiesterman takes the time to carefully explain your injury, surgery, recovery, etc. He's very willing to listen and completely understands the emotional trauma an injury puts on young athletes. He always puts the patient first. There was never a moment we didn't have complete trust in his recommendations and care. My daughter had a pretty traumatic injury and we are so please Dr. Hiesterman was her doctor! I would so recommend him for the care of other young (and old) adults. Also kudos to St. Cloud Orthopedic staff, they are always friendly and welcoming. A very very big shout out to the nurses that casted my daughter on her very first visit. Your patience, understanding of pain and compassion is something I'll always be greatful for!

very impressive
i broke my femur and had no idea what my future would be. After three months i was walking without any cane and at 5 months I am totally back to normal There has been no pain and the assistance from St Cloud Orthopedics is excellent I am so thankful for Dr. Hiestermans and his staff I highly recommend them

Couldn't have asked for a better surgeon
I had 6 total surgeries with Dr. Hiesterman. He always gives empathy and tries to understand exactly what is going on. If he is not sure he asks for help from other doctors. He teated me better than any doctor has. Thank you Dr. Hiesterman for everything you have done for me.
