Dr. Hankinson did an anterior C5-7 discectomy and fusion on me in May of 2010. I was fortunate enough to have the ability to go anywhere in the US to get this procedure done, and after doing my due diligence came to the conclusion that Dr. Hankinson was as good as any surgeon I found in Houston, Dallas or Phoenix. For me, the results have been fantastic. That's not to say that surgery is something you should embark upon lightly. Surgery was my only choice, which was the unanimous conclusion of every neurosurgeon I spoke with. If you live in the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area and need neurosurgery done, I would absolutely contact Dr. Hankinson's office to have him give you a diagnosis on your particular condition.
